🚀 Getting Started
1. Create a Squad
Start by creating your first squad from the home screen. A squad is a group of players you regularly organize into teams.
2. Add Players
Add players to your squad with their names and skill levels (1-10, where 10 is the highest skill).
3. Create a Session
Create a gaming session, select players from your squad, and divide them into balanced teams using one of four algorithms.
⚙️ Team Division Algorithms
Random
Players are randomly assigned to teams. Great for casual games where you want unpredictability.
Balanced
Teams are balanced by total skill level for fair competition. The algorithm distributes players to ensure each team has similar combined skill levels.
Skill Grouped
Players with similar skill levels are grouped together. Beginners play with beginners, experts with experts. Teams are always balanced in size.
Tiered Balanced
Creates balanced teams within skill tiers. For example, if dividing into 4 teams, you get 2 advanced teams and 2 beginner teams, each balanced within their tier.

Is my data synced across devices?
No, all data is stored locally on your device for privacy and offline access. Your squads and sessions are not synced to any cloud service.
Can I edit a player's information?
Yes! Simply tap on any player card to edit their name or skill level.
Can I change a squad or session name?
Yes, tap the edit icon (pencil) next to the squad or session name to rename it.
What happens if I divide players unevenly?
The app automatically creates balanced team sizes. For example, 14 players into 4 teams creates two teams with 4 players and two teams with 3 players.
Can I use this for non-sports activities?
Absolutely! SquadShuffle works for any activity where you need to divide people into balanced groups - study groups, project teams, game nights, etc.

SquadShuffle respects your privacy:
- All data is stored locally on your device only
- No data is collected, transmitted, or stored on external servers
- No account registration required
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertisements
Note: Because data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will delete all your squads and sessions.
